Bhaca Heritage Dance Festival-Indlamu

The event is a festival of traditional Bhaca dance that brings together various groups with roots from different villages back home. The groups will be in three traditional social categories: 1.) Young men dance called Indlamu

2.) Young maiden’s dance called I Ringi

3.) Women’s traditional dance called Mamtiseni

The event is an open invitational to all groups from across the landscape to come and showcase their prowess. On the day there will be four segments of the program, the first two hours will be imbizo ka Bhaca where there will be presentations from the speakers from the organisation talking about the organization’s vision and programs of action. There will also be an open session for questions and answers. The speakers will focus mostly on issues that Hlangana Bhaca is addressing for the benefit of the Bhaca people. It will also focus on inspiring Bhaca people to participate in future programs.

The next segment will be equally shared amongst all the groups present on the day, men and women and maidens will get time on stage to do what they are good at. The program will be designed to ensure all the visitors on the day are well entertained and kept invested in the event and its vision.
