Five Elements Yin yoga to release and ground with Alastair


Yin yoga combines deep stretches and long holds to release and unwind the body, letting it naturally settle Into alignment.


In this class Alastair will move through different poses corresponding to the 5 Elements in Traditional Chinese medicine: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water, with focus not just on the pose, but the corresponding internal organs and meridian channels. This allows the whole body to naturally realign, release and reset.


Suitable and healing for all levels of fitness and health. Bring your own mat.


Alastair is a dedicated yoga teacher with eight years of experience across studios, retreats, and corporate settings. He focuses on healing and awareness through deep breathing, stretching, and breath-connected movement. Trained in Hatha and Yin yoga, his classes suit all levels, fostering mindfulness and balance.
