This year, I’m dreaming big—and raw—with a vision to co-create a Shibari Sanctuary at AfrikaBurn: a space of embodiment, trust, connection, and artistic rebellion.

Shibari is so much more than rope. It’s a language of care. A practice of presence. A ritual of reclaiming pleasure, power, and intimacy on our terms. In a world that teaches us to be disconnected from our bodies, this sanctuary will offer something rare: a sacred, sensual container for pause, breath, and deep feeling.
