ABOUT
You are warmly invited to the 2025 Theatre Showcase, an annual celebration of the creative spirit and diverse talent nurtured within our Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. The showcase forms part of Stellenbosch University's Homecoming Weekend for alumni, which takes place from Thursday 11 September to Saturday 13 September 2025.
In 2024, we launched the Theatre Showcase with great success, showcasing current student performances, enjoying bubbles and refreshments, reconnecting with old friends, and ending the evening with live music by Cape Town-based band Kujenga.
This year, our student talent takes it up a notch. We will be celebrating the theatre arts with phenomenal performances directed by Matie alumna and Fleur du Cap Theatre Awards winner Nicole Holm, in collaboration with notable Drama Department lecturers Mmatumisang Motsisi and Dr Schalk van der Merwe. There will also be a special performance by musician, Internet Athi.
