Lente in die Boland. We invite all Maties to join us in celebrating a milestone – the 10th anniversary of our Stellenbosch University Alumni Homecoming Weekend. As we gather on the 11th, 12th, and 13th of September, we celebrate a decade of this new Maties tradition, which brings Maties from across the globe together. This annual tradition has grown over the years, transforming into a special time when alumni connect with fellow Maties and their alma mater.

Twenty twenty-five will be a special Homecoming, from significant reunion events which include 150 years of Maties rugby, Simonsberg 70, Academia 25, Harmonie 120, Heemstede 60 and Erica 50 to our annual Matie Winemaker Showcase focusing on 100 Years of Pinotage in 2025. We also bring back the LLB, MBCHB, BAcc, MBA classes as well as specially invite all 1st years from 2015, 2005, 1995, and 1985.

The Homecoming Weekend is crafted to celebrate the spirit of Stellenbosch University and the contributions of our alumni. Here’s to celebrating our first decade of Homecoming and looking forward to many more.
