ABOUT
The Improv Cart presents: The Ex Files: A Dating Disaster Improv Show
“We’ve all got baggage. Let’s unpack it… with a little help from our exes.”
This uproarious improv show takes you on a wild ride through the frustrating, awkward, and sometimes downright bizarre world of modern romance. From the struggle of swiping right on dating apps to the aftermath of a breakup you wish you could forget, each scene is filled with hilarious moments that anyone who’s ever been single can relate to.
Scenes are inspired by audience members sharing their most chaotic dating or breakup experiences (anonymously or out loud), and the performers use these moments to create totally unscripted, off-the-wall scenes. From dating app disasters to dealing with that ex who just won’t let go, each story brings to life the awkwardness, the miscommunication, and the often hilarious journey of trying to find love (or at least someone who doesn’t make you want to immediately block them).
This show is perfect for anyone who’s ever felt the struggle of modern dating, the confusion of trying to “move on,” or the awkwardness of running into an ex in the wild. The Ex Files is all about finding humour in the chaos of romance-because sometimes, the only thing that makes a dating disaster bearable is laughter.
