Sonic Lens: Soundscape & Film Screening of Simon and I

Join us on 8 March 2025 at 6PM at Breezeblock, Brixton for a powerful evening of film, sound and storytelling!

We are proud to present a special evening of Simon and I, an evocative film that explores themes of activism, queer identity and resilience. The screening will be followed by a unique soundscape experience, where artists will bring the film’s theme to life through immersive sound and music.

This event will feature an esteemed lineup of artists: Daniel “Stompie’ Selibe, Micca Manganye, Sanele Ngubane and Lynn Daphne Rudolph - each bringing their own artistry and sonic experiences to deepen the experience.

We are also greatly privileged to welcome Dr.Beverley Palesa Ditsie as our Honoured Guest and featuring artist, a renowned activist and filmmaker whose voice will add the depth of the evening’s sonic conversations.
