Petals with Purpose: Spring Festival
Hadeco will host the Petals with Purpose: Spring Festival from 20 - 21 September 2025 in Magaliesberg. The event will support the local Magaliesberg community and R30 from each ticket sale will be donated to charity.
Children aged 12 and under enter free when accompanied by an adult with a paid ticket.
Festival Fast Facts
- At the main field, festival goers can expect to see seven vibrant colours of ranunculus and Sparaxis. The field by the parking area features Ixia, Ipheion (spring star flower), Tritonia and Babiana.
- The festival will be held at Hadeco’s Magaliesberg farm (Waterval Wes), next to Hoërskool Bekker. Please use the Quicket directions link for the exact pin location.
- Join us on Saturday, 20 September, from 8am to 3pm, and Sunday, 21 September, from 8am to 2pm.
- Tickets are limited to ensure a pleasant and exclusive experience for all attendees.
- Special talks will be presented by gardening expert Melanie Walker, Hadeco Director Charles Barnhoorn, and bee expert Rob Krul. A planting workshop will also be on offer.
- The festival is hosted on farm terrain, but wheelchair users are welcome. While field access may be limited, the flowers are visible from the sides. If you need assistance, our friendly team in Hadeco shirts will gladly help.

Children’s Supervision: Children remain the responsibility of their parents or guardians. They must be under adult supervision at all times and are expected to respect the talks and experiences of other patrons during the festival.
Parking: Please note that parking on the grounds is at your own risk.
Respect the Flowers and Landscape: Flowers are not to be handled or picked without a ‘Flower Picking’ ticket. Our carefully cultivated landscape should be treated with care. Pre-cut flower stems will be available for purchase. Please remain within the designated areas at all times.
Weather Advisory: Hadeco’s farm event is weather-dependent. While every effort is made to ensure an enjoyable experience, a decision will be made in the event of inclement weather. Event tickets are refundable.
Photography and Media: By entering the farm, visitors consent to their images being captured and shared on social media and other platforms by Hadeco or other visitors.
Charity Contribution: R30 from each ticket sale will be donated to charity.

The following are not permitted on the farm:
- Your own food or drinks (other than water), as food and beverages will be available at the festival
- Pets
- Gazebos
- Portable speakers
- Sporting equipment
