Open-mic poetry night

Please join us on Tuesday the 28th of January 2025 for our open-mic poetry night & Third House reunion.

A gathering of gentle, artistic souls in pursuit of meaning, through the power of collective expression.

We are so excited to see all your stunning, talented faces light up the stage once more!

Where: Selective Live, 189 Buitengracht St, Gardens, Cape Town.

When: Tuesday the 28th of January 2025, first event of the year!

Time: 7:30pm.

Entry: R50

Note for performers:

You are allowed to recite one long (within reason) poem or two short ones.

There is a sign-up sheet upon arrival at the venue for those who wish to perform. Sign-up sheets are limited to 20 performers and fill up quickly so please arrive early if you wish to get your name on the list. It's first come, first serve!

Please remember that this is a poetry event and not a music event. Musicians with original, written pieces are allowed to perform only one song as performance poetry takes preference.
