Time: 9:45am for 10:00am

Venue: Central Library Cape Town

Meeting Point: Meet inside the libary, Art Library portion. Follow the stairs up to the mezzanine floor.

We meet up at the Art Library portion of the library. Follow the stairs up to the mezzanine floor. We usually have a coffee and a social "Meet and Greet" where we can share ideas on books and get to know each other. 

This is a great event to attend on your own, even if you don't know anyone. And the perfect space to make new friends.

Please note: We use the term "Lesbian" as an inclusive umbrella term. It is a label that helps you find a community, not a prescription of who is allowed in this space. This group welcomes and celebrates all sapphics, women who love women (including bisexuals and pansexuals), and all trans and gender non-binary folk.

Special Guest This Week:

In this special edition Queer Book Club, Erica Terblanche will share some of her experiences with us. 

Erica is a powerhouse of inspiration—an accomplished motivational speaker, life coach, and radio host with a deep passion for the science of happiness. She’s the voice behind her own YouTube channel and guides countless individuals towards a more fulfilling life through personal coaching.

Her debut book, Run for the Love of Life, is an uplifting memoir that earned a spot on the Exclusive Books top recommended list. In it, Erica shares her extraordinary journey as one of South Africa’s most fearless endurance athletes, taking readers on a thrilling ride through jungles, mountains, and deserts. Her incredible experiences, paired with her reflective storytelling, will inspire you to push beyond your own limits.
