CULTURAL FUNDRAISER EVENT FOR IMIZAMO YETHU FIRE VICTIMS

Pop-Up Cinema, Flipside Events and Frank have joined forces to launch the first of a series of outdoor cinema community fundraisers under the name: 'BECAUSE WE CAN’

The first event is focussed on Imizamo Yethu, Houtbay. After an estimated 1963 shacks were destroyed by fire on Saturday (11th of March) in the township‚ leaving over 7000 people homeless. All profit generated goes towards food vouchers for the families affected by the catastrophic fire.

This event offers a day filled with cultural entertainment, providing the perfect day out for families, friends or couples - while giving everybody the opportunity to give back to the community and to bring a little bit of light and love back into Hout Bay.

Outdoor events are weather reliant. In the case of rain or heavy winds, the event will be POSTPONED but never cancelled. If this is the case all ticket holders will be informed by midday of the event with the postponed day.
