ONLINE SALES HAVE CLOSED BUT TICKETS ARE STILL AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR: R120 (R100 for pensioners and students)
CTYC returns from a tour to the US that included a concert in Carnegie Hall with a concert titled “Songs of Loss and Hope”.
We explore those two aspects of life both through existing choral repertoire as well as through newly commissioned pieces. We sing about loss of country, of home and of life and importantly, loss of Ubuntu and our humanity. But we also sing about finding hope and joy in the midst of loss and about finding a way forward.
We believe that the South African youth have a good story to tell, one in which love of our common humanity triumphs over narrow self-interest.
Tickets are currently R105/R85 (will be R120/R100 at the door).
