Sun May 26, 07:00 - Sun May 26, 15:00

1 Winsome Valley Rd, Riverside Estate 497-JQ, Centurion, South Africa

Welcome to Run the Rhenoster, the trail run/walk that champions wildlife protection and habitat preservation within the Crocodile River Reserve

Now in its third year—and with only 250 tickets available again this year—Run the Rhenoster promises an unforgettable experience amidst the breathtaking landscapes of the CRR—it's a journey through history, nature, and community.

Join us as we lace up our running shoes and walking boots and come immerse yourself in the rich heritage of the reserve, from ancient geological formations to iconic landmarks like Koppie Alleen and Rhenosterkop. As we traverse the trails, we're not racing against the clock; we're running and walking for a cause. A portion of each ticket sale directly supports conservation efforts and wildlife veterinary services in the reserve, ensuring that future generations can continue to enjoy these pristine natural spaces. So whether you're a seasoned trail runner or a novice adventurer, lace up, run wild, and make a difference today!

Please note that this is a fundraising event, and R100 of your entry fee contributes directly to the reserve conservation fund. We have maintained our ticket prices at the same level as in 2023.

Let's make a difference together!

The Crocodile River Reserve boasts the esteemed designation of a Protected Area, mandated by the National Environmental Management: Protected Areas Act of 2004. This legislation emphasizes the crucial role of conserving ecologically significant regions, preserving South Africa's rich biological diversity and natural landscapes. Over a hundred dedicated landowners have willingly committed to conserving biodiversity within the reserve. While each landowner bears individual responsibility under governmental agreements, collective efforts are coordinated and executed through the Grassland Stewardship Alliance.
