Help the Eagles Fly to Nationals 2024

The Eagles Majorette Club was launched in 2022 and in no less than 6 months the students made it to the 2023 South African Nationals and achieved 2nd and 3rd place, with 2 of our team members qualifying for the Worlds in France in 2024. Our group has now grown in size and is working towards South African Nationals for 2024.

Accomplishing these achievements has given our team a sense of community, a place to grow, keep fit, and thrive. We have an extremely large range of team members from ages 6 – 50. All of our teammates come from different walks of life and not all of them can contribute financially to the many commitments it will take to get a team of 30 to competitions. Our sports team is a not-for-profit team, and all funds raised or donated are put towards field rental, insurance, props, uniforms, travel to competitions, and more. Our coaches do this purely for the love of the sport and are not paid at all.

Our current goal is R3500 for each team member, we need to raise R105000 for accommodation and food alone and a further R45000 for transport. Bringing our total to R150 000. Which is a whopper of an amount to strive towards. So we would like to implore every person involved in any of our drum majorette's lives or even those who support a community sport that exists to uplift women in sport, please open your heart and your pocket. Every single cent will help so much.

We will be on at Nationals from Wednesday 26 June until Wednesday 3 July 2024. We have 120 days to raise these funds as of 28 Feb 2024.
