Ratanga Park Sunset Concerts: Emo Adams

The legendary Emo Adams has become a household name over the past few decades. He has consistently been a prominent figure in the creative community of the Western Cape and South Africa and has

built a prolific career working with exciting productions, television shows, and releasing hit songs. All of these have earned him widespread fame and adoration. He spent much of his younger years playing songs and sounds of harmony alongside his music-loving father. Similarly, he learned much of the rhythms from his equally talented elder brother, Luqmaan Adams. Emo Adams released a studio album in 2007 entitled Tall, Dark & ??Afrikaans. He is widely known for his work on the SABC2 series Malan and Kie. He is also recognized for having been the host of Your Show With Emo on kykNET and Noot vir Noot on SABC 2. Don’t miss his infectious humor and world-class talent on the Ratanga Park Concerts stage, with the most scenic backdrop in the whole of the Cape.

The Sunset Concerts are picnic-style events, suitable for the whole family. Gates open at 16:00 and the concert starts at 17h00. Guests may bring their own picnics, but no alcoholic beverages and glass bottles are permitted. There will be wine and beer for sale at the concert, as well as food offerings from local food trucks. Concertgoers are also requested not to bring tables, chairs and gazebos, since these interfere with the sight lines of other patrons. Tickets are R200. Kids under 12 free entry. No pets allowed.

Special parking arrangement: Plenty underground parking is available in parking structures P2 and P4, with access point via Conference Lane, Century City. R12 for the duration of concert day. Cashless only, please have your Zapper or Masterpass apps ready, or your credit or debit card.
