Lebogang Komane live at Intravinous

Lebogang Komane a rising star trumpeter based in Cape Town will feature Mthetho Mthenjwa on Keyboard and drummer Josh Roelofse. Originally from Johannesburg, Lebogang has performed for numerous ensembles, such as the Johannesburg Symphonic Wind Ensemble and the Johannesburg Youth Orchestra, where he was placed on 1st trumpet.

Lebogang is currently pursuing his BMus in Jazz Studies degree at UCT, where he is a member of the UCT Tentet. He is also a passionate educator, composer and arranger.

He has shared the stage with some of South Africa's most prolific artists, including: Zonke Dikana, Mpumi Dlamini and Ndududzo Makhathini. When Lebo is not performing, he is active in the youth-led jam session scenes in Cape Town. 

Colours of Autumn is a showcase of Lebo's compositions which have been led him in and out of his musical jam sessions. The music has sounds that describe my musical and personal growth. I am a firm believer in being a healer through music.
