As you traverse through some of the quieter and more serene trails, you'll experience a unique blend of physical activity, mindfulness, and Nature connection.
WHAT YOU'LL EXPERIENCE
- Nature Immersion: Immerse yourself in the beauty of nature, experiencing its calming and rejuvenating effects.
- Silent Walking: Engage in silent walking practices that promote mental clarity and inner peace.
- Natural Mindfulness: Discover the power of being still and present, tuning into the wisdom of the wild.

The Healing Hike lasts approximately 3-4 hours, covering a distance of 7km through a combination of jeep track and single track paths. Along the way, we'll engage in activities that deepen our connection with nature and ourselves.
- Guided hike through Newlands Forest by a certified Mountain Guide with Level 3 First Aid
- Mindfulness and wellness activities by a qualified Natural Mindfulness Guide
- Group discussions(participation is optional) and personal reflection time
- Tea and a nourishing snack bar break in nature's embrace

Your journey will be led by Michael Holmwood, a certified mountain guide, natural mindfulness guide, and life guide. These Healing Hikes were born out of a personal need to manage mental well-being while juggling the stresses of modern living whilst managing a business. With a wealth of experience in guiding people both through mountain trails and life's challenges, Michael is uniquely qualified to lead you on this healing and transformative experience.
