The Pink Squad Initiative

We are fundraising for the Safety, Health and Economic Enablement of woman and girls, our population is estimated at 60,14 million people, approximately 51,1% (30,75 million) of the population is female and on the only 47,0% of South African women were recorded as economically inactive in 2022.

Our mission is to set up an Emergency Support Call Centre, Safe Houses and Woman Safe Health facilities. Crimes against women have multiple victims, especially their children and it time we deploy holistic solutions.

The call centre will be called in case of violent attacks on woman and minor children under 12 and medical emergencies. This will be a 24-hour crime reporting call centre which deals with women and children. The calls can be made on a landline - these calls will free, or from what's App request to be call back option and cellphone calls charged at the normal cell phone rates. All calls to the will be recorded.

We need to act now to significantly reduce crime in general but most important crime against women and girls such as domestic homicide, domestic abuse, sexual assault, abuse experienced as a child, harassment in work and public life. While men and boys also suffer from many of these forms of abuse, they disproportionately affect women.
