ABOUT
Things are not always what they seem… and so this year’s Grade 11 Dramatic Arts learners are in the process of finding out as they grapple with their given theme: “Smoke & Mirrors”.
Four plays have been written and selected and our budding playwrights are now contracting directors and designers to translate their written work into theatrical masterpieces. Auditions are
underway as they seek the perfect cast to bring their imaginary characters to life.
This evening promises to be a theatrical treat, engaging all the senses as these young creatives perform and produce plays written and directed in the style of Expressionism.
Just to add even more atmosphere to the evening the Fish Hoek High’s Jazz Band, Grade 10 Band and Choir will be entertaining audience members both on the main stage and in the foyer, where
there will be a cash bar available during interval.
Don’t miss this wonderful event all taking place on Saturday 7th October at The Masque Theatre in Muizenberg. Tickets can be purchased on Quicket.
THINGS TO KNOW:
* You are welcome to take your food and drink into the theatre, but please be sure to return your glass to the bar afterwards.
* Strict admittance policy - no entry after the show start time. Latecomers will be admitted entry at intermission.
* Children are not permitted to sit on laps.
* No flash photography or videography is allowed.
