Lydia is turning 70 this year and we are inviting every Lydianer to come and celebrate this joyous occasion with us on 16 September 2023. We’ve all had the honour and the privilege to call Lydia our home. Therefore, this is an opportunity for everyone to get together once again and to relive all those special memories and celebrate the special bonds we have formed within these four walls.
Join us for a pleasant, fun filled morning, including a “sip and paint” experience, and relive the nostalgia as we take you down memory lane. We have a day planned where stories will be shared, friends will be reunited, and memories will be made once again in the space we all call home.
By the same token, your alma mater will also be ready to roll out the maroon carpet for Homecoming 2023. Reconnect with fellow Maties on the Stellenbosch and Tygerberg campuses from Thursday 14 September to Saturday 16 September 2023. The timing for all these festivities couldn’t be better.

Lydia word vanjaar 70 en ons nooi elke Lydianer om hierdie vreugdevolle geleentheid saam met ons te kom vier op 16 September 2023. Ons het almal die eer en voorreg gehad om Lydia ons huis te noem. Dus is hierdie geleentheid ’n kans vir almal om weer bymekaar te kom en al daardie spesiale herinneringe te herleef en die spesiale bande te vier wat ons binne Lydia se vier mure gevorm het.
Sluit by ons aan vir ’n aangename, prettige oggend wat ’n “vat-’n-teugie en verf”-ervaring (sip and paint) insluit en herleef die nostalgie terwyl ons saam op ’n toer van herinneringe geneem word. Ons het ’n dag beplan waar stories gedeel sal word, vriende herenig word en nuwe herinneringe geskep sal word in die ruimte wat ons almal ’n tuiste noem.
Die Universiteit Stellenbosch is ook gereed om die maroentapyt vir Tuiskoms 2023 uit te rol. Maak weer kontak met mede-Maties op die Stellenbosch- en Tygerberg-kampusse vanaf Donderdag 14 September tot Saterdag 16 September 2023. Dit gaan ’n groot naweek wees!
