Vier van ons land se voorste strykers span saam in die Amici-strykkwartet, wat wyd beskou word as een van die beste kamermusiek-ensembles. Sedert die stigting van Amici in 2006 het hulle al opgetree by die prestigeryke Kaapstadse Konsertreeks, die Grahamstadse Nasionale Kunstefees, die Bulawayo Internasionale Fees en die Woordfees – saam met kunstenaars soos die pianis Leslie Howard, Mirijam Contzen (violis) en Madosini, doyenne van tradisionele Xhosamusiek.

Four of our country’s leading string musicians team up in the Amici String Quartet, widely regarded as an exceptional chamber music ensemble. Since the founding of Amici in 2006, they have performed at the prestigious Cape Town Concert Series, the Grahamstown National Arts Festival, the Bulawayo International Festival and the Woordfees – together with artists such as pianist Leslie Howard, Mirijam Contzen (violinist) and Madosini, doyenne of traditional Xhosa music.
