Minnaar and Berger, directed and accompanied by Dias, serve up an evening filled with scandal, sadness and comedy. Through arias and duets from, amongst others, Lucia di Lammermoor, La Traviata and Thaïs, they evoke musical spaces from Parisian opera salons to the high drama of La Scala, highlighting themes of friendship, fatherhood and just a touch of enmity.
