ABOUT
Dietrich en Van Aswegen werk sedert 2005 saam om boekwerke of kunstenaarsboeke te maak. Boekwerke lê op ’n interdissiplinêre kruispunt tussen die visuele kunste en letterkunde en omsluit poësie, prosa, toneelskryf, illustrasie, prenteboeke, die grafiese roman, grafiese ontwerp, tipografie, fotografie, drukkuns, teken, skilder, papiermaak en boekbindery.
Dietrich and Van Aswegen have been working together since 2005, making bookworks or artists’ books. Bookworks lie at the interdisciplinary intersection be- tween the visual arts and literature and include poetry, prose, playwriting, illustration, picture books, the graphic novel, graphic design, typography, photography, printing, drawing, painting, papermaking and bookbinding.
