Venustia is excited to welcome you back to your community for Homecoming Weekend. In honour of Venustia’s 15th birthday, we formally invite you to join us for a breakfast at the Stellenbosch Botanical Gardens on Saturday 16 September 2023.
The breakfast will begin at 09:00 and give you the chance to catch up with all your friends that you met through Venustia. There will be drinks and a scrumptious breakfast buffet spread for you to enjoy. Afterwards, the House Committee (HC) would love to host a tour of our current HC house – only 5 minutes away – and show you how Venustia has grown and prospered over the years since you left university.
The ticket price for the event is R100 and all profit gained will be donated to our newly formed Venustia Care Bear Fund. The money is used to help fellow members in need of financial assistance.
We are very proud of how Venustia has grown over the years and how we continue to uphold our values of integrity, compassion, respect, equity, and inclusivity. We hope to see you at the breakfast.

Hier by Venustia is ons omtrent opgewonde om jou terug in jou gemeenskap te verwelkom tydens Tuiskomsnaweek. Ter ere van Venustia se 15de verjaarsdag nooi ons jou dus formeel uit om op Saterdag 16 September 2023 by ons aan te sluit vir 'n ontbyt by die Stellenbosch Botaniese Tuine.
Die ontbyt begin om 09:00 en bied jou die kans om al jou vriende wat jy deur Venustia ontmoet het, weer te siene te kry. Daar sal drankies en 'n smullekker ontbytbuffet-verskeidenheid bedien word wat jy ter harte kan geniet. Daarna wil die Huiskomitee (HK) jou graag op 'n toer van ons huidige HK-huis neem – slegs sowat 5 minute weg – en jou wys hoe Venustia oor die jare gegroei en floreer het sedert jy die universiteit verlaat het.
Die kaartjieprys vir die geleentheid is R100 en alle wins wat gemaak word, sal aan ons nuutgestigte Venustia Care Bear-fonds geskenk word. Die geld word gebruik om mede-lede te help wat finansiële hulp benodig.
Ons is baie trots op die manier hoe Venustia oor die jare gegroei het en hoe ons steeds ons waardes van integriteit, deernis, respek, billikheid en inklusiwiteit handhaaf. Ons hoop om jou by die ontbyt te siene te kry.
