ABOUT

The environment provides us with life. It gives us food, water, clean air, shelter, peace, spirituality, economic development and recreation - everything that is vital to our lives. The fate of mankind is so intertwined with the fate of nature, that if the environment suffers, we suffer. Nature is where we are right now, it is where we live, and where we get our basic requirements for life.

Join Jonathan Leeming on a Nature Explorer Walk at Kloofendal exploring what nature has to offer. This general nature walk focuses upon aspects of the natural world that are available at that time of the year, wrapping it all together through the following topics:

  • The human relationship with the environment.
  • Biomimicry and technology.
  • Conservation.
  • Importance of biodiversity.
  • Issues of sustainability.

The Nature Explorer Walk highlights how the environment operates by connecting the dots in a way that only Jonathan can do.
