ABOUT
A free workshop on maintenance and family law. We are a community of professionals hosting discussions around pertinent struggles faced in the court by the public, court officials, attorneys, mediators, social workers. Creating safe spaces to find solutions to many of the issues presenting.
This month’s dialogue will be addressing family law in context of emigration. With an ever-increasing emigration rate, equip yourself with knowledge and the various aspects that need to be in place before one emigrates. Know what your responsibilities and rights are as a parent left behind in South Africa or for those emigrating with children. We will cover all topics from child maintenance to parenting plans and all legal requirements of both parents and practical ways to co-parent living in different countries.

As these are free events, they are volunteer run, please honour and respect our volunteers and guest speakers time.
***We have limited space for children, booking tickets for your children and not pitching takes opportunity away from a parent that needs it. Also we rely on volunteers in the kiddies corner, if kids do not pitch volunteers end up coming in for nothing (they give up their Saturday for us). Please ONLY book a kiddies ticket if you intend coming. Repeated no shows will be not be allowed to book a ticket in future.
