ABOUT

Join us for a two day CEVA workshop brought to you by Meat free Monday and CEVA powered by Fry’s Family Foods and Vegilicious.

On-site trainings are led by CEVA hosts;

Dr. Melanie Joy. A Harvard-educated psychologist, celebrated speaker, organisational consultant and award-winning author.
&
Tobias Leenaert. International speaker, animal advocate and strategist.

The Center for Effective Vegan Advocacy (CEVA) aims to increase the impact of vegan advocacy worldwide. CEVA is a programme of Beyond Carnism, a charitable organisation dedicated to exposing and transforming carnism, the invisible belief system that conditions people to eat certain animals.

The production and consumption of animals is a leading cause of widespread animal and human suffering and environmental damage, and it is enabled by carnism – a global system of oppression. Veganism is the counterpoint to carnism, so increasing the power of the vegan movement is a key to ending carnism.

CEVA aims to empower the vegan movement by empowering advocates and organisations. Through offering on-site trainings, organisational consulting, grants to qualifying organisations, and a strategy resource centre, they seek to increase the effectiveness of vegans and vegan organisations and therefore to increase the impact of the vegan movement as a whole.

This truly is a workshop not to be missed.
