Wind Dans Ensemble : Hilton Schilder & DJ Futurist

Wind Danse Ensemble is a hybrid sound project between DJ Futurist & renowned veteran musician, Hilton Schilder. The duo create layers of sound utilizing vinyl records, tapping into multiple textures of history, herstory, genres & generations.

Schilder performs live improvisation on multiple instruments, along with sound layers created by Futurist on turntables & mixer. The project bridges references to hip hop, indigenous roots music, avant garde jazz & traditional folk music into an immersive sound universe searching for new spaces & sound.
