CTL Book Club - Saturday 22 April

Time: 9:30am for 10:00am

Venue: Central Library Cape Town

Meeting Point: Central Library Cape Town. Exhibition space above the Art Libary section.

We'll start with a "Meet and Greet" at Cape Town Central Library. We can swap ideas on books and share what we have read. From there, those who have not yet, can register as members of the library and then explore their wonderful queer book selection with the rest of us. Hopefully, some of us will be able to check out some fantastic queer literature. 

We'll arrange for an area in the library where those that feel like it can meet after finding a book to discuss books and connect with fellow queer bookworms. 

If you have some spare queer books that you're open to exchanging, please bring them along.

Unwanted books can also be donated to the Libary, where others can have the pleasure of reading them.

This is a great event to attend on your own, even if you don't know anyone. And the perfect space to make new friends.

Please note: We use the term "Lesbian" as an inclusive umbrella term. It is a label that helps you find a community, not a prescription of who is allowed in this space. This group welcomes and celebrates all sapphics, women who love women (including bisexuals and pansexuals), and all trans and gender non-binary folk.

Bring along:

- your completed membership application form;

- a valid identity document (ID);

- proof of your home address (for example, a utility bill)

- one or two references.
