Cape Town Lesbians - Pre-Pride Parade Breakfast
Sat Mar 4, 08:30 - Sat Mar 4, 10:30
Bootlegger Coffee Company at The Cape Quarter
ABOUT
We are meeting up for breakfast at Bootleggers at Cape Quarter before the official Cape Town Pride Parade.
The venue is within walking distance from the starting point of the Cape Town Pride parade, and we'll all be doing the march together after breakfast. This is a great way for us to share this experience together as a community. Note that the Pride Parade itself is also free to attend
This event is
- Free to attend (just pay for whatever you order)
- Family-friendly (if you have kids, you’re welcome to bring them with)
- A great way to ensure you find parking. Coming through to green point just before the start of the Pride Parade will mean that finding parking will be a challenge.
In addition to a free ticket, you can also add CTL Tshirts to your booking. These can be collected at this event. Tshirts are high-quality cotton, in a unisex crew neck cut.
- Grey 2 Women Design: This vibrant design celebrates our community. We've incorporated the Pride Flag colours, The Lesbian Flag Colours, The Pansexual Flag Colours, and the Transgender Flag colours.
- Navy 3 Dot Design: This incorporates the pride colours into a subtle and versatile design. Instead of "Cape Town Lesbians", the text only says "CTL | EST 2008".

Bring along for the Pride Parade March (Starts at 11am, and this is free to attend)
- Sunscreen
- Comfortable shoes to walk in
- A bottle of water
The official afterparty, Cape Town Pride Festival Mardi Gras 2023 will be after the parade. Tickets for that are R50 per person, and you can book that here:

Note: We use the term "Lesbian" as an inclusive umbrella term. It is a label that helps you find a community, not a prescription of who is allowed in this space. This group welcomes and celebrates all sapphics, women who love women (including bisexuals and pansexuals), and all trans and gender non-binary folk.
