ABOUT
Owls have inspired artists and sculptors, and appeared regularly in written works and mythology, where they have been strongly associated with characteristics such as wisdom, helpfulness and powers of prophecy.
Join us for a talk about these beautiful birds of prey, who, in every day life are vital to the environment but face the constant threat of habitat loss, poisoning and a number of other dangers.
Sarah from Eco Solutions will tell us all about Owls, and what we can do to help safeguard them in the environment and in our own gardens. As a bonus, she will also be telling us a little bit about bats and will be bringing along some owl and bat boxes.
