"The winds of seasonal change are in the air, and with them the glorious sounds of music!

The Theatre Linden welcomes to the stage some of South Africa's leading musicians to present a musical extravaganza of works for winds and piano.

The Quintets written by Mozart and Rimsky-Korsakov are rarely heard in South Africa. This programme does not only deliver these incredible works, but also includes the even more rarely performed Sextet of Poulenc. Listeners can look forward to musical mastery, including Scriabin's beautiful Romance for French Horn and Piano (as a celebration of the composer's 150th birthday anniversary).
