Thandeka Dladla at Nouvelles Vibes

ABOUT

Thandeka Dladla is a versatile vocalist and voice artist who is equally at home in both the jazz and Afro-soul sphere. A graduate of the University of Cape Town (UCT), she has a degree in BMus Jazz Vocal Performance from the South African College of Music where she was under the tutelage of Nomfundo Xaluva and Amanda Tiffin. She is a budding songwriter, exploring heart-touching and socially relevant stories in her music and has gained much performance experience. Thandeka leads her own quintet in performances and is also a part of various bands including The Unity Band who were due to perform at the 2020 Cape Town International Jazz Festival.
