MEET NICK ALLEN AND SAHIL AFFRIYA



NICK ALLEN is a civil engineer with an MBA, and additional education in IP management, Venture Capital, Private Equity, and Corporate Governance. Nick is drawn to helping inventors and innovators turn their ideas and concepts into products and businesses that make peoples's lives better and/or solve some of the world's problems. He has a passion for building businesses from first principles. He is a founder of Savant and has been commercialising technology businesses for 20 years, taking food tech, medical devices and renewable energy businesses from concept stage to the international market.



SAHILL AFFRIYA is a principal at Savant Capital. He has gained experience with startups as an entrepreneur and as an investor. He has supported startups in multiple domains, such as spaceTech, healthTech, marketingTech, logisticsTech, etc. His spot on is integration of people, business and technology. He has, in total, four degrees.



ABOUT SAVANT

Savant invests in early stage technology start-ups with investment ready hardware innovations that are close to market with demonstrable demand. Savant has also partnered with Sibanye-Stillwater to run the iXS programme (which stands for innovate, xcellerate (read as accelerate) and scale) that specifically looks at innovations in the broader mining ecosystem.
