ABOUT

Celebrating the longed-for revival of live music-making, the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra is proud to announce details of its new Summer Season running from 3rd – 24th March at the Linder Auditorium, at the Wits Education Campus, 26 St Andrews Road, Parktown, Johannesburg.


The JPO Summer Season 2022 continues with the tradition of the World Symphony Series featuring accomplished international conductors and soloists, as well as the cream of South African artists.  The line-up has been designed to meet the needs of discerning music lovers and includes works from the world’s favorite composers.

As of 1st March 2022, Wits University will implement a mandatory vaccination policy and all persons accessing the campus will have to show a vaccination certificate or a negative Antigen COVID Test, not older than seven days.
