Kuilsriver CAN

About

We may be apart, but we don’t have to be alone during this COVID-19 crisis.

The Kuilsriver Community Action Network (CAN) is a group of community volunteers set up in response to Covid-19. As a community, we want to create a network, that works closely together, pooling our resources, talents and skills to support and respond to the needs in our community that have arisen from COVID <; and the lockdown.

There are some of us that may be in need, i.e. we need to GET something, and some of us that are in a position to GIVE something.

  • If you want to support, volunteer or GIVE help to KR CAN, please complete the following - able volunteers who are available and have the capacity to support CAN efforts are very much needed + welcome at this stage (whether in small or big ways as our efforts will continue beyond the lockdown):
  • If you are aware of community needs and want to GET or source support (i.e. you know of an NPO, NGO or organisation or families that need help), please complete the following, we may define and ringfence CAN efforts once we understand community needs better based on responses received:

Doing life during the Corona virus pandemic can be difficult. The good news is people around the country are coming together to take care of each other in our communities, especially those in need.

Kuilsriver CAN is aligned to Cape Town Together And manage by Latifah Jacob's founder of Aurorah an Organization that focus mainly on Social development We want to help neighbors connect during times of crisis and assure that no one in the community has to face it alone. This could include providing support in small or big ways (every little bit helps) e.g. donations for feeding efforts and food parcels, grocery delivery to the elderly or frail, cooking or checking in virtually, connecting people who can make a difference in each others' lives.

We are #strongertogether.
