Masiphumelele Fire Donations

Mon Feb 29, 16:45 - Mon Feb 29, 17:00

On Saturday night 28th November, a hectic fire ripped through Masiphumelele, leaving 2 people dead, and 4000 people homeless and displaced. In the aftermath, the residents of Masi have been trying their best to put their lives back together - but they really need as much help as they can get.

Through AfrikaBurn Outreach and Project Ubuntu, funds raised from this donation drive will go towards those affected in Masi - among whom are members of the eMzantsi Carnival and Flamin' Amazing Show, who have participated at AfrikaBurn over the past few years. One of the ways the funds are planned to be used is by buying fire extinguishers to be distributed to the community in order to enable them to be self reliant and prevent the kind of devastation that happened on November 28th.
Many thanks to all who've played a part in coming to the aid of the Masi community!

How can we help?
