SAHARI - South Africa Has a Right to Ivermectin
Who are we?
SAHARI is a 70'000 strong advocacy group for the urgent approval and efficient roll out of Ivermectin as essential medicine in South Africa.
Despite all the local and international evidence and experience strongly in favor of Ivermectin as a preventative and therapeutic medicine, the South African government, Department of Health and SAHPRA restrict the human right to Ivermectin, medication that has proven to have a positive effect on Covid-19 and other illnesses, such as the Zika virus.
Note: Ivermectin is a Nobel prize winning drug and is recognized by the WHO as essential medicine, along with aspirin and penicillin.
It should be available at no cost, especially to our poor who cannot afford to go to a doctor for a Section 21 Application.
SAHARI mourns and stands against the tragic and unnecessary loss of lives, mental trauma, and economic devastation of our poor and working class. Our public servants have criminalized health care workers who are trying to save lives.
We must stand with our health care workers who serve our nation under immense pressure.
Health care is our human right under Section 27 of the Constitution.
The People's Medicine Campaign
SAHARI is proud to announce that we will be hosting national Ivermectin Awareness Campaigns across South Africa.
Our people have the right to know the facts about Ivermectin and that Ivermectin is being used in other countries as both preventative and treatment.
This is a critical awareness campaign, and it is going to take all of us to raise our resilient voices, and move our determined feet.
How can you help?

2. SAHARI advocates for free Ivermectin to be legalized, and clear guidelines to be shared to raise public awareness.
3. ALWAYS consult your trusted health care professional for detailed advice.
