This year’s community spectacular gala, recorded at Artscape, was so incredible that we have decided to offer not one but two online concerts … Spectacular Pops includes such legends as Early B and Tarryn Lamb, Cathy Specific and Kyle Seconna, Craig Lucas, Marc Lottering with his Aunty Merle cast and Jazzart Dance Theatre. Community Classics presents so many brilliant acts you won’t want it to end … Nombulelo Yende and Lynelle Kenned, superb young flautists Lihle Mabhula and Jevano Swartz, trumpeters Jadon and Jason Booysen and Hayley Joorst, the unbelievable Hill sisters; and the wunderkind, the 10-year-old oboist and pianist Eleni Monvoisin who will be in both! Brandon Phillips conducts, of course.
