Footsteps Kitchen

About

Footsteps kitchen started on the 4th of May during lockdown. I saw the need to assist with food when the parents of my daycare centre came to me to ask for food. Uncooked food was not enough for the 10 families in need, so I decided to start my soup kitchen.

Since I started cooking, our kitchen has grown and is now feeding 200 - 300 people of all ages. The numbers of people needing to be fed are increasing daily. I currently have five women assisting me in the kitchen.

We serve soup with some rice, pap or bread depending on what we have available.

In order to keep our kitchen going, and for us to keep cooking for all these people, we ask that you please donate as much as you can afford. Every little bit counts!
