#InnerCityWineRoute - 9 November
Haven’t experienced some of the monthly #WineWednesday fun yet? Whether you’re a wine fundi, curious newbie or just trying to convince your friends that wine is a step in the right direction – the #InnerCityWineRoute has something for you.
From Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Elgin, Robertson, Swartland, and Constantia to Bot Rivier, Paarl, Wellington, Darling and Hermanus, tuners have tasted more than 120 producer’s wines from over 10 of the Western Cape’s best wine regions since the #InnerCityWineRoute started last year.
Tuning the Vine #InnerCityWineRoute is an epic midweek wine tasting adventure including some of the hippest inner city venues and showcasing delicious South African wines and talented winemakers! Every Wednesday following First Thursdays, Tuning the Vine fills the City streets with hundreds of happy wine tuners, helpful wine fairies and loads of wine loving fun!
Starting time is 5.30pm and tastings end at 8.30pm. Venues are open till late so you can stay wherever you are and continue to have fun.
Nudge, nudge, wink, wink – consider these quick tips to get the most out of your sips:
- Arrive early – you’ll have more time to taste the wines you’re interested in, before the venues fill up
- Stay for supper – Tastings close at 8.30pm but venues will remain open and will be selling food. What’s on the menu? Think burgers galore, bacon goodness, German style sausage platters, Peruvian tacos, tapas, (Honest) chocolate offerings, cheese boards, nibbles from the grill, pizza and more!
- Buy a Quicket ticket before the event and let the Tuning the Vine wine fairies fast track your entry at The Gin Bar, Weinhaus + Biergarten and The Odyssey. Find them and you’ll have your map, glass and wristband in a whizz!
- The map is a mere guideline. Follow the #InnerCityWIneRoute and visit venues as you please – you need not go according to numbers.
- Need some help? Look out for the Tuning the Vine wine fairies on hand to help you with what you need
Grab your friends, call your family and make sure you don’t miss the party. Not convinced yet? Just ask the 12,000+ tuners who have made their way into the Mother City CBD and enjoyed the #InnerCityWineRoute since it started in October 2015. Private Somm Tours

I can't find or print my tickets
You've made a ticket order on Quicket, and now you want to admire the beauty of this unique barcode, but it seems this ticket has plans of its own. You're unable to find it. Don't worry - we've captured your ticket in a couple places, so you never need to worry that it's lost.
Option 1: Check your inbox
Your tickets will be sent to the email address that you provided under Buyer Information on the checkout page. If you don't see them in your inbox within a couple minutes of your order being completed, it's possible your tickets have landed in your Promotions tab or spam folder. You can also use the search bar in your email account to search for emails from Quicket.
Your barcodes will appear in the body of the email, as well as a PDF document attached to the email. You can either show the email itself to gain entry to the event or download the PDF of your tickets. As long you have your barcodes, you should have no problems.
If you haven’t received your email after a few minutes and you suspect it could be a firewall issue, get in touch with us and we can help you access your Quicket account and track down your tickets.
Option 2: Check on Quicket
