On 17 October, our Director and Transformational Leadership Coach Thomas Radebe celebrated his birthday.
To mark the occasion with a lasting contribution, he challenged himself to write 17 easy-read
handbooks intended to serve as an appetiser for people who do not ordinarily read books.
At the centre of this initiative is Who Said Black People Can’t Read?, guided by the question:
“Not that we can’t read; maybe we don’t read because our heroes don’t write.” The soft launch is
an invitation to encourage reading, local authorship and the preservation of our communities’
stories.
