AVIJOZI

AVIJOZI is a non-profit organisation building Africa’s creative economy across Film, AI, Animation, VFX, Interactive Tech (Gaming), Comics and Content Development. Founded with the support of Chocolate Tribe, AVIJOZI connects creatives with industry, opportunity and each other through its annual festival, career roadshows, internship programmes and partnerships.

Since its launch, AVIJOZI has drawn more than 10,500 registrations, hosted 105+ industry speakers from 19 countries, and helped create 282 direct jobs and over 400 indirect employment opportunities. Our mission is to grow a creative sector where African stories, talent and IP are developed, owned and valued on the continent.
