The Women's Museum | The Actualize & Success Lab

About

The South African Women’s Museum and The Actualize & Success Lab share a commitment to making women’s voices heard, their contributions recognised and their leadership strengthened. Their work connects the courage and experience of women who shaped history with the possibilities for women shaping the present and future.

The Actualize & Success Lab is a coaching, leadership development and organisational development practice founded by Rosieda Shabodien, a leadership coach, gender equity specialist and author. It supports individuals, teams and organisations to clarify their purpose, strengthen their capabilities and turn insight into purposeful action. Its Gender-Intelligent Coaching approach recognises how gender, power and social expectations shape people’s opportunities and experiences. Working with leaders of all genders across academia, business and the social sector, the Lab brings a particular commitment to advancing women’s leadership, confidence and influence.

The South African Women’s Museum is developing a “museum without walls” that foregrounds women’s roles in the struggle against apartheid. As a catalyst, connector and interlocutor, it seeks to work with activists, researchers and existing archives to bring these stories into public life. Through exhibitions, storytelling, public dialogue and intergenerational encounters, the Museum aims to ensure that women’s experiences and strategies inform contemporary movements for gender equality and justice.
