Cape Independence Advocacy Group (CIAG)

Research-based political lobby group advancing the argument that the people of the Western Cape, in common with other communities in South Africa, will be best served by advancing their right to self-determination, as established in international law, and accommodated in the South African Constitution. Specifically, in the words of African Charter on Human and Peoples Rights, they should "pursue their economic and social development according to the policy they have freely chosen."
