See Beyond the Label is a one-day neurodiversity event bringing together lived experience, professional insight and practical approaches to understanding dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD, autism and nonspeaking communication.

Join us on Saturday, 24 October 2026, from 09:00–15:00 at Kiddies Academy Silver Lakes, Pretoria for a day designed to challenge assumptions, deepen understanding and help us see the person beyond the label.

Our speakers include:

Richard Whitehead – Director & Principal Trainer, Davis UK & Ireland

Exploring ADHD, dyslexia and dyscalculia, and how Davis approaches may support individuals following diagnosis.

Cindy Henrico – Licensed Davis® Facilitator, South Africa

Sharing the development of Davis support in South Africa, including awareness, access and practical support for neurodivergent individuals and families.

Cathie Geraci – Davis Autism Approach® Presenter & Training Supervisor

Speaking on nonspeaking autism, with a focus on communication, regulation and connection beyond speech.

Zekwande Mathenjwa & Marc Bruyère – Zekwande Foundation

Sharing a powerful lived-experience perspective on communication, autonomy and presuming competence.

Event contribution: R350 per person

Your R350 contribution reserves your place at the event. Proceeds will support the Gifts for Dyslexia Bursary Foundation, helping individuals and families gain access to support that may otherwise be financially out of reach.

See Beyond the Label is ultimately about changing the conversation around neurodiversity — moving beyond diagnosis, behaviour and assumptions toward greater understanding of the individual, their way of thinking and their potential.
