Make Education Fashionable (MEF) is an education-focused initiative founded by Prof Mamokgethi Phakeng to celebrate educational achievement, recognise excellence and connect graduates with meaningful opportunities. The annual MEF Convocation & Awards brings together graduates, academics, professionals, entrepreneurs, organisations and partners for a national celebration of education. The Convocation is built around three pillars: Celebrating Education, Creating Opportunities and Awarding Excellence.
