St Joseph’s Children’s Hospital is a non-profit paediatric healthcare facility in Cape Town providing specialised intermediate care and rehabilitation to children who require continued support before they are ready to return home.

Founded in 1935, St Joseph’s has more than 90 years of experience caring for children and their families. Today, our multidisciplinary approach brings together medical and nursing care, rehabilitation, therapy, nutritional support, education and psychosocial services to support each child’s individual recovery journey.

Working in partnership with families and the wider healthcare system, St Joseph’s provides an important bridge between acute hospital treatment and home - giving children the time, care and support they need to recover and prepare for the next stage of their journey.
