Charles Jacobs is a Stenden South Africa student and the filmmaker behind Hosana Is Man Enough to Care, a short documentary created through the Digital Storytelling for Social Change minor.
The film was developed in partnership with Ezibeleni OVCH and tells the story of Hosana Nkontso and the Men Championing Change programme in Nemato, Port Alfred.
This profile brings together storytelling, community engagement and fundraising initiatives that use film and conversation to create awareness, strengthen communities and support meaningful social change.
The fundraising screening of Hosana Is Man Enough to Care on 25 November 2026 will bring together Ezibeleni, the Department of Social Development, Stenden South Africa and members of the community, while raising funds and support for Ezibeleni.
