Ndilisa Goba

I am Ndilisa Goba, a passionate vocalist with a powerful range and a deep, lifelong connection to music. My journey began at the age of six, inspired by my mother, who was a church and choral choir conductor. She introduced me to the beauty and discipline of vocal performance, and I found my voice in church and school choirs, where the foundation of my musical passion was laid. From 2009 to 2013, I had the privilege of performing with the renowned South African Navy Band and Choir, an enriching chapter that refined my technique and taught me the power of music to move and unite people. In 2023, I stepped into the spotlight as a solo artist, focusing on live performances for private and corporate events — weddings, business seminars, fundraising galas, high teas and memorials — offering solo sets and collaborations with local bands. In 2025, I proudly joined The Philharmonia Choir of Cape Town, performing grand choral works in some of the country’s most prestigious venues. I am also a member of the Gilbert & Sullivan Society, and in July 2026 I was honoured to be cast in The Pirates of Penzance, performed at Artscape. My repertoire spans musical theatre, jazz and classic pop, delivered with versatility, emotion and artistry in every performance.
